Featured in "Big as Life," a series of small gauge films at the Museum of Modern Art, New York and the San Francisco Cinematheque. Shown with ANOTHER GIRL ANOTHER PLANET when the London Institute of Contemporary Art toured the film. AGAP won an award for "expanding the possibilities of experimental film". Michael Almereyda is noted for his use of the Fisher-Price PixelVision camera. He used the format, which records video onto audiocassettes.
