Mike a Edward jsou dva beznadějní snílci z malého amerického městečka, kteří spojí síly, aby založili restauraci s německými párky. Snímek o přátelství a uzeninách je zároveň společenskou satirou, ve které se střetává hledání identity s rigidním náboženstvím, intelektuální omezeností, rasismem, homofobií a dalšími formami intolerance.
