Tór spolu s Lokim se na kozlím spřežení vydává přes Mitgard do Útgardu, aby porovnal své síly s obry. Cestou se Tór rozhodne, že s Lokim přenocují u lidí. Ti jsou nejprve roztřesení z toho, že nemají tak vzácnému hostovi co nabídnout, ale Tór je přátelsky pozve na mimořádnou hostinu. Nechá stáhnout z kůže své dva kozly (Tanngnjóst a Tanngrisni) a poručí lidem, aby jedli co hrdlo ráčí, ale musí nechat kosti a dát je do kozlích kůží. Z nich ráno kozly oživí, ale s hrůzou zjistí, že jeden kozel kulhá. Za trest si vezme od lidí jejich dvě děti do služby. V Útgardu Tór a jeho družina zápolí s obry. V prvním souboji - kdo dřív sní porci masa ve žlabu - se Loki postaví Plamenu. Ve druhém se utká Tjálfi v běhu s myšlenou následujících dvou klání se Tór pokusí vypít z rohu moře a přemoct stáří. Tento film byl natočen jako animovaná pohádka pro děti, podle starogermánské legendy O Tórově výpravě k útgardskému Lokimu. (MpV)
